WELCOME to the online home of DeSoto football. As we enter the 2011 athletic season I'm pleased to welcome you to Eagle Football! We have high hopes to repeat and expand on the success we enjoyed in 2010. We are proud of the traditions of teamwork, sportsmanship and fair play established by our student athletes under all our coaches and staff.  We look forward  to the further accomplishments of our team. Our players have been working very hard to prepare for this upcoming season and are coming off a very successful season which include state playoff appearances. Thanks to all the Eagle Boosters and the hundreds of parent volunteers who are working tirelessly behind the scenes supporting Desoto High School.

As with all our athletics programs we will constantly remind and instill in our football players, other athletes and fans the core values of sportsmanship, fair play and self discipline while stressing academic achievement and good citizenship as the foundation for future success. To our fans and our community, who have given us our will to succeed, we sincerely thank you for your support.

Remember that our extraordinary athletic programs exist for the benefit of our children. Support your team, whatever the sport, support your teachers and coaches and, most of all, support your sons and daughters as they embark on this wonderous journey. Let's all help them get there safe, sound and prepared!
